Tanya Long is the Cleveland based visual artist behind Inisona jewelry. She received her MFA in ceramics from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan and her BFA from Pratt Institute in New York. She has spent over a decade working in ceramics studios around the world, including artist residencies at the European Ceramic Work Center in the Netherlands and International Ceramic Research Center in Denmark. She has also been the recipient of a U.S. Fulbright award for research and travel in Hungary. Her large ceramic works focus on abstracted minimalist forms and this carries through to her ceramic jewelry designs. Each piece of handmade jewelry combines porcelain and sterling silver to create unique, wearable, works of art than be enjoyed for a lifetime.
