Pastels are my primary medium, but I also work in oils and charcoal. Inspired by the beauty of the landscapes near my home in N.E. Ohio and beyond, my goal is to push the boundaries of realism, incorporating experimental techniques to create expressive and dynamic compositions.

I received a degree in Printmaing and Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art, and enjoyed a fulfilling career as an Illustrator and Calligrapher. But over 10 years ago, I decided to return to my first loves, Drawing and Painting amd became a full-time Fine Artist and Instructor. I teach locally from my home studio in Solon and at local art schools. I addition, I conduct plein air painting workshops world-wide.

I am a Master Pastelist with the International Association of Pastel Societies, and have been published in Pastel Journal, Artists Magazine, Strokes of Genious and Richeson International Art Books.
