A self-proclaimed obsessive paper collector, local artist Sue Schieman creates unique boxes out of new & vintage materials sourced from around the world. She begins each piece by constructing boxes out of book board and covering them with handmade and fine papers (“cartonnage”), mixing paper patterns, and then finishing the boxes with new and vintage buttons, beads and other small treasures.
