Emergent showcases new and upcoming artists who have been inspired by the Cleveland art community with Akinyelure in the Spotlight Gallery.

Emergent shines a light on new and upcoming artists who have been inspired by the Cleveland art community or have recently graduated from area colleges and universities. First presented in 2015, Emergent celebrates the strength of the northeast Ohio region as a training ground for the great artists of tomorrow. Artists include Romy Anderson, Scout Bach, Ryan Cermak, Layla Davis-Branner, Emma Gatzulis, Annie O’Brien, Gabs Rataiczak, and Jazzee Rozier.

Spotlight: Olatunbosun Akinyelure
Akinyelure is a self-taught Nigerian artist creates textured acrylic portrait paintings with a palette knife.

Join us to view the exhibited pieces, meet the artists, and be part of what promises to be a vibrant, well-attended celebration of contemporary art.

Both exhibitions run through October 18th.
