May Literary Artist of the Month – Joan Lederer and David Stringer
Joan Lederer came to photography later in life while empty nesting. Her interest in photography is mainly in documenting people, their interactions and their emotions. She is also fascinated by people’s stories as she photographs them. During COVID it became a necessary challenge to see the positive in life. Joan uses her art to work this out. David Stringer’s poetry was created both in response to Joan’s photography and in response to the experience of living through the pandemic. Both artists have chosen to show the positive expressions of our community in these times.
